How to Tackle Self Doubt?

What if

With exams round the corner, we all have anxiety in our gut, a sense of self doubt? To eliminate it Let’s try to recognise it. Only then we can face it.

1. It is a feeling of uncertainty that unleashes havoc in our minds and affects our productivity.
2. It creeps in our mind and creates a psycho-somatic condition affecting our mental and physical health
3. It is amplified by peer and societal pressure. Others are performing better than us matter more than our performance.

How to tackle it?
If we will allow ourself to be in this situation for a long time, consequences will be vulnerable. It will be better to get rid of it as soon as possible. Follow few steps to remove this feeling

  1. Embrace self- compassion
After doing so many efforts we are not getting results or we are doing mistakes then we start feeling low and guilty.Remember mistakes are inevitable and not allowing ourselves to make mistakes and continuously questioning our competency is a mistake. So first step of this journey is to always permit margin for error. Learn from your errors . After all, you are not your mistakes ; they are what you did, not who you are.
  2. Revisit your achievements-
It is important to recognise all your achievements in the past and revisit them time to time. For every demoralising thought, remind yourself of something you have achieved in the past. It may be 9CGPA in boards or a match, debate you won in school.
  1. Recognise your competition-
The worst thing we always do is to compare our journey with others. Remember your journey is different, your obstacles are different. The milestones you reach, The growth you exhibit, and even the failures you face are unique. the fire you see in others is also inside you. Yes it may be slow or fast. Just have faith in your karmas. Put your best efforts. You will surely succeed.
Remember God’s plans are always better than yours.
  2. Circle of positive affirmation-
It is very important to have positive aura and positive minded people around yourself. Many people will try to discourage you by giving examples of xyz people. Just stay away from them.Positive affirmation will boost your confidence and make you brave enough to follow your heart.
  3. Seeking validation-
The last step of your journey is realising that the only validation you will ever need is your own.your accomplishments deserve boost from your surrounding  but you don’t need it. Every step you take and every hurdle you jump over needs only your acclamation.Being in harmony with your own self is the only way you can rise up from failure and pat your own back after success. Actually You  should not need people. You are self sufficient.

At last My best wishes and blessings are always with you .
May your all dreams come true!
Lots of love and blessings
