ABOUT NEET
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level medical entrance exam. It is organized to provide admissions in MBBS, BDS & Ayush Courses. The NEET exam is conducted once a year in offline mode for three hours and 20 minutes. NEET 2023 exam will be conducted in 13 languages, for the admission of eligible students in various medical programmes such as MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduates (UG) medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental/AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes across India. The languages in which the applicants can attempt the NEET (UG) 2023 exam are English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
EXAM PATTERN OF NEET
As per the exam pattern of NEET, there will be 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions from three NEET subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (further divided into Botany and Zoology). Each question carries four answer options, out of which candidates will have to select one option.
There will be 2 sections in each subject consisting of 35 questions in Section A and 15 questions in Section B (out of which 10 are optional). Each correct question carries 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of minus one (-1) mark for each incorrect answer.
